DR. FREDERICK NORFOLK
Dr. Norfolk is from Watertown, New York and has been in New England since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University in 1989. In 1993 he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Norfolk is a current member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Worcester District Dental Society and he volunteered at Bridge Over Troubled Waters providing dental care to homeless individuals. He has been practicing dentistry for 28 years, 23 of which have been in Milford, Massachusetts. Dr. Norfolk resides in Ashland, MA with his wife, daughter and son and his interests include reading, traveling and being outdoors as often as possible. He takes the time to treat every patient as a friend and a welcome part of the dental family we have established here at 116 Water Street in Milford.
DR. JOEL ALPER
Dr. Alper was raised in Lexington, MA and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester in New York in 1989. In 1993, Dr. Alper earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Alper was awarded a fellowship for research in the field of TMJ/TMD and received awards in Recognition for Excellence in Fixed Prosthodontics and Removable Partial Prosthodontics. In 1995, Dr. Alper earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies after completing his residency in Periodontology from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Alper has been a member of the TriCounty Dental Study Club since and the East Middlesex District Dental Society. He participates with Donated Dental Service, volunteering time to individuals who are disabled, elderly or medically compromised and cannot afford necessary treatment. Dr. Alper belongs to the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. Dr. Alper lives in Bedford, MA with his wife and three kids. He enjoys traveling with his family, reading, cooking, skiing, biking, and running.
Dr. Jeremy Nguyen
Dr. Jeremy Nguyen grew up in South Boston and has resided there for most of his life. He received his bachelor’s degree in cell and molecular biology from Boston University and his master’s degree from Boston University School of Medicine. After pursuing both his undergraduate and graduate degrees, Dr. Nguyen obtained his doctor of dental medicine and graduated with honors from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. During his time as a dental student, he received special recognition awards for his contributions during many international fellowships focusing on the delivery of dental care to underserved communities including areas of Central Vietnam and Thailand. He is also a proud member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys playing tennis, traveling to new countries, attending concerts and shows, and volunteering. He is also fluent in English and Vietnamese.
HOLLY A. AMBROSE, RDH, BS
Holly received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Bridgeport – Fones School of Dental Hygiene and has been in practice for twenty five years. She has been part of our team since 2001.
Holly is bi-lingual in Spanish, certified to teach clinical Dental Hygiene curriculum and retains active licenses in the states of Colorado, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
She is certified to administer local anesthesia and trained at Mt. Ida College. Holly has also been certified and trained for both local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration via her previous training at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry Since 1995.
KATIE BAVIER
Katie graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1991 with an Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene degree and in 1992 with a Bachelors of Science degree. In 2006, Katie received her license to administer local anesthesia from Mount Ida College. With 18 years of experience, Katie is licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and has been with our practice since 2005.
Michele H. Stockhaus
Michele is a graduate of Quinsigamond Community College with an Associates in Dental Hygiene. She graduated from David Hale Fanning Technical School and received a certificate in Dental Assisting. In 2015, Michele received her license to administer local anesthesia from Mount Ida College. She has been a hygienist for over 30 years and has worked at our practice since 2017. She enjoys spending time with her grandchild and camping with her husband.
